Between Sleeps: For My Boston Strong

Living with terrorism, both in NYC for 9/11 and for the Boston Marathon bombing.

I was living in NYC during 9/11, and about a decade later was living/working a street away from the Boston Marathon bombing when it happened. This comic was my reflection on what it was like to be in the vicinity of both those tragedies.

This comic is felt tip pen and ink on paper, and I made it in 2013. It was shown in the “Doodle” group show in Somerville, MA in 2014.
